The International Autism Synergies Conference, 2026
Rethinking Autism: Neuroscience Meets Neurodiversity
In Partnership with the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology, NIMHANSAutism Synergies 2026 begins in
Why Synergies?
The International Conference of Autism Synergies brings together therapists, doctors, educators, researchers, advocates, policymakers, autistic voices, and parents to explore the most current evidence-based practices in autism support and intervention.
Designed as a high-impact global platform, the conference will showcase cutting-edge research, internationally recognised clinical practices, innovative intervention models, and emerging technologies transforming autism care today.
Delegates will gain practical, real-world insights into communication, sensory regulation, behaviour, feeding, mental health, inclusion, family support, and lifespan outcomes — bridging the gap between science and everyday practice.
Interdisciplinary Focus
Hear from leading voices across diverse fields of autism research in carefully curated panels.
Cutting-edge Scientific Papers
Explore hundreds of scientific paper presentations showcasing the latest preliminary findings and methodologies.
Clinical Translation
Dedicated tracks on moving scientific discoveries into meaningful clinical and educational practices.

Core Pillars of the Conference
Five interconnected tracks that form the foundation of a truly integrated understanding of autism.
Neurodevelopment, Brain & Behaviour
Explore how neural development influences behaviour, regulation, learning, and participation. Moving beyond labels to interpret the 'why' behind what we see—with a focus on early markers, interdisciplinary assessment, and whole-individual practice.
Sensory Integration & Regulation
Highlighting the powerful role of sensory processing in shaping engagement, behaviour, attention, and participation. Bringing together sensory integration principles, reflexes, postural foundations, and clinical reasoning.
Communication as a Neuromotor-Linguistic Network
Communication is far more than words. A complex interplay of motor planning, sensory processing, cognition, language, and connection—explored from a neuromotor perspective for integrated, evidence-based intervention.
Feeding & Gastrointestinal Comorbidities in Autism
Addressing feeding through a comprehensive lens: sensory-motor, medical, gastrointestinal, nutritional, and psychosocial factors. From ARFID to complex clinical decision-making, with practical family-centred insights.
Functional Development, Mental Health & Emotional Safety
True progress is about participation, autonomy, safety, and quality of life. Exploring dynamic AAC, clinical decision-making, and the importance of mental health and emotional safety in therapy, education, and daily life.
